Rockies are shopping Holliday
Sports Illustrated’s Jon Heyman is reporting that the Colorado Rockies are shopping Matt Holliday.  Holliday, who is a free agent after next season, should get the attention of every GM in MLB.  The problem will be what the Rockies demand in return.  Right now, it looks like they are asking for a young pitcher with at least #2 potential.  Colorado GM Dan O’Dowd says th... Game 3 Controversy, Umps drop another Palin on the Phils

It was a great Game 3, and I have plenty of thoughts.  Hit them up after the jump.

At 45 years old, Jaime Moyer pitched a hell of a game for his hometown Phillies in Game 3 last night.  His best moment came in the seventh inning, when he made a spectacular diving catch/scoop to get Carl Crawford out at first base.  In the play, Moyer scooped the ball with his glove and the...

Looking at...

Game One Controversy
The Devil Rays are upset about a call that went against them in last night’s Game One of the World Series.  They do have some room to be upset, but they need to realize they had 11 more outs to go in the game that they could have capitalized on.  More after the jump.
Devil Rays Manager Joe Maddon clearly thinks Phils pitcher Cole Hamels balked when he picked off Carlos Pena in the...

World Series Predictions
Tonight marks the start of the 2008 World Series between the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (yes, I know they dropped the devil from their name, but I refuse to fall in line!) and the Philadelphia Phillies. Who will win? My thoughts after the jump.
The Devil Rays have home field advantage, and a stable of young talent with a world of potential. The Phillies have a well balanced team team that has one of the...
