The Situation - Stephen Strasburg
The other day we discussed Jason Heyward, and his chances to make the Braves' opening day roster.  An update to that would simply state that dude is still mashing, and actually hit his first homer yesterday.  His chances of making the roster are looking better and better, probably about 85% at this point.  How do I come up with 85%?  That would be via the Mike Bohn Gut Algorithm.

Today we look at Stephen Strasburg, however, who makes his Spring Training debut for the Nationals later today.  Strasburg will be facing the Tigers, and likely only go for two innings.  The entire baseball world will be watching, so updates on the game should be extremely easy to come by.

Strasburg jumped onto the scene last year while he was playing for Tony Gwynn's San Diego State baseball team.  Dude was a killer on the mound, and he first hit my old blog, thesportsidiot.com, almost a year ago.  Now that he will pitching in game situations, we will do our best to update you on his chances to make the opening day roster, as well as where you should slot him in your fantasy draft.  Make no mistake, Strasburg will have an impact on this season, but like Heyward it is only a matter of when it will start.
